Marquis Broadcast has announced Hat Trick, one of the UK's most successful independent production companies has installed Marquis’ Project Parking and Workspace Parking to manage its Avid projects. Hat Trick now uses Project Parking integrated with Spectra Logic’s BlackPearl® Deep Storage Gateway for storage and easy retrieval of projects, while Marquis’ Workspace Parking and Sync enable editors to access content at facilities in both Camden and near Oxford Street, central London.

Project Parking, now developed to be a complete Avid storage management solution, has been selected by Warner Bros. Television Production UK Ltd (WBTVP UK) to manage its Avid projects.
“Based at Grays Inn Road, London, WBTVP UK is an internal post house for large group of production companies,” confirms Simon Brett, technical manager, Warner Bros. “WBTVP UK is using Project Parking to manage the Avid projects on its 250 TB EditShare and 96 TB Isis storage.
TV3, Ireland’s leading free-to-air commercial television network, is using Marquis’ complete Avid storage management solution, Project Parking, to assist in the management of media on its Avid Interplay and ISIS storage.
Project Parking identifies how space is used, removes unused and duplicate media, archives projects and moves projects with media to other storage or systems. Projects can also be merged from other systems without media duplication. The solution also monitors how media storage is used, regularly reporting on usage, showing usage over time, plus archiving projects and executing analysis in the background.

Launched on Martin Luther King’s birthday in January 2004, TV One now serves 57 million households and is the exclusive home to the NAACP Image Awards and News One Now, the only live daily news programming targeting the African American audience. Combining hit sitcoms, award-winning docu-series, original movies, popular reality series and newsworthy specials, the network delivers real life and entertainment programming from the African American point of view and will now use Marquis’ Project Parking to manage its Avid projects.
Seaside Productions GmbH, German creative agency for on air promotion, design and post production, is now using Marquis’ Project Parking to help manage its edit storage more effectively. The Munich based agency purchased Project Parking through reseller Videocation and the solution will be used on on-air promos for the ProSiebenSat.1 TV channels.
German public broadcaster Bayerischer Rundfunk (BR) has selected Marquis’ Project Parking to help manage its edit storage more effectively at its Munich headquarters. BR, which already uses Marquis’ interoperability engine Medway, will now also use Project Parking to transfer projects, back-up content and allow completed, parked projects to be restored quickly and easily.
Videohouse, based in Belgium, has selected Marquis’ Project Parking for archiving and restoring Avid projects. Videohouse is a national and internationally recognised service provider for television and multimedia projects and will now use Project Parking to assist its post-production staff manage their Avid edit storage more effectively and transfer Avid projects back and forth between different storage groups.

Südwestrundfunk (SWR) the regional public broadcasting corporation serving the southwest of Germany has selected Marquis’ Project Parking to move projects and help manage its edit storage more effectively. Project Parking which was purchased through reseller Media Online Frankfurt, is now used in the broadcaster’s Stuttgart and Baden Baden facilities.
