Marquis Broadcast, specialist in content workflows and media integration software, has announced the German public broadcaster Bayerischer Rundfunk (BR) has selected Marquis’ Project Parking to help manage its edit storage more effectively at its Munich headquarters. BR, which already uses Marquis’ interoperability engine Medway, will now also use Project Parking to transfer projects, back-up content and allow completed, parked projects to be restored quickly and easily.

Videohouse is a national and internationally recognised service provider for television and multimedia projects and will now use Project Parking to assist its post-production staff manage their Avid edit storage more effectively and transfer Avid projects back and forth between different storage groups.
Marquis Broadcast, specialist in content workflows and media integration software has announced that RTL9 is now using its archive and retrieve solution: Project Parking, to archive content at the station which is broadcast from Luxembourg and is distributed in France as well as in Switzerland. Project Parking which is marketed by reseller CTM Solutions in France, will now help RTL9 to improve the management of its archives.
Marquis Broadcast, specialist in content workflows and media integration software, has announced Spanish public broadcaster, RTVE Spain, has purchased Marquis’ integration solution, Medway, through distributor Telefonica (TSA) to allow network access to its historical archives. Medway which is currently being installed at RTVE’s Prado, Torrespaña and Barcelona facilities will allow content to be restored and transferred from particular archives and be imported directly into the Avid Interplay editing system. The system will also enable content produced by the editing systems to be exported back to the local archive for later use by RTVE’s other systems.

Project Parking is now being used to enable editors at client sites to analyse all the projects and media on their edit storage by size, project, location, age, duplicated or orphaned files and then archive files to second tier storage, or delete unused media at the touch of a button, take snapshots of versions of projects, or move from one location to another, while still maintaining a usable and easily accessible format for future use.
